Furthermore, Northern Gas Heating has unrivalled public sector expertise having been appointed by the Home Office to build a gas, plumbing and electrical training centre within Her Majesty's Young Offender Institution (HMYO) Aylesbury. This unique facility provides invaluable training for offenders alongside members of the public.

Northern Gas Heating has also worked closely in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to address the skills shortage within the central heating industry. As a result, our Gas Safe approved centres of excellence in Aylesbury and Wolverhampton are helping the unemployed to become qualified gas engineers and secure full time employment.

We also understand the need for social housing to comply with the Code for Sustainable Homes and the Decent Homes standard. These initiatives respectively establish mandatory targets for energy efficiency and requirements for homes to be warm, weatherproof and equipped with modern facilities.

With this in mind, Northern Gas Heating can advise on, supply and install extremely reliable high efficiency boilers that convert more than 90% of the fuel that they use into heat and minimise CO₂ emissions. In addition, we can fit thermostatic radiator valves that enable tenants to precisely control the temperature in each room and advanced environmentally friendly technologies such as solar hot water. Working in partnership with ES Pipelines Ltd, Northern Gas Heating has helped link up around 2000 UK domestic homes previously unconnected to the gas network. From the complexity of churches through to schools, and business premises, Northern Gas Heating have assembled an infrastructure of engineers and support staff well versed in large scale gas installations.
