Britons considering investing in
central heating boiler controls will find that the products are worth purchasing, according to one newspaper.
The Times explains that modulating
boiler controls are able to monitor the temperature of a room and vary the heat being released into the space to meet this.
As reaching a preset temperature allows the
boiler to lower its own temperature, the gas in the device is burnt more efficiently and wasteful over-heating is avoided, the article continues.
"It not only cuts energy bills by making your
boiler more efficient, it also prolongs its life," it adds.
However, the newspaper advises that a homeowner should not tackle fitting
heating controls themselves, but contact the manufacturer of a registered
boiler engineer.
In a recent article for the Telegraph, Kara Gammell stated that the addition of
heating controls to a
condensing boiler could save £275 a year off heating bills.
And even used alone,
heating controls could see utilities bills lowered by 17 per cent, she added.
