Northern Gas Win 'H&V News' - Domestic Heating Installer of 2010.

Choosing boiler engineers from Northern Gas Heating could be a worthwhile decision, after the firm scooped a prestigious industry award.

Boiler engineers from Northern Gas Heating (NGH) could well be celebrating, after the company rose above strong competition to pick up an industry award.

NGH has announced that to its "delight", it has won the Domestic Installer of the Year award at the H&V News Awards 2010, after being named as a finalist some months ago.

The category, which was sponsored by boiler manufacturer Baxi, included a number of big names within the sector, but the judges decided that NGH stood out from the crowd.

The event recognises companies within the heating industry for their skill and innovation and is the most prestigious awards ceremony to take place within the industry.

Winners in the contractors and installers categories were chosen because of their competence and professionalism, in addition to their innovation and commercial success.

Hugh Dennis, comedian and star of the BBC's Outnumbered and Mock the Week, hosted the ceremony this year.
