TV property expert advises new boiler installation
Article date : 02/08/2010

One property expert has urged people hoping to sell their home to consider upgrading their existing
gas boiler in order to attract buyers.
Phil Spencer, who presents Channel's 4's Location, Location, Location with Kirstie Allsopp, told the Press and Journal that investing in a
new boiler is an "essential" basic that can help to increase a property's value.
It can also ensure that any buyer does not have to fork out for a replacement when they move in, he added.
Mr Spencer explained that new
central heating systems are more than likely to see the seller enjoying a profit, adding as much as £5,000 to the home's overall value.
The expert went on to advise that Britons can make their bathrooms appear larger to buyers by replacing
radiators with underfloor heating in order to free up space.
Elsewhere, About My Area recently claimed that while new
central heating systems can help to sell a home, consumers should contact a boiler engineer from the Gas Safe Register to carry out the work.
