Precautions with central heating systems when building garden office
Article date : 01/07/2010

Working from an office based in the garden could see people more able to work closer to their families in a relaxed and outdoor setting.
And according to David Grievson, managing director of property development business Puddlestone, such a feature could, in some cases, make it easier to sell a home.
However, he added: "It is vital to check with your council that a structure in your garden is allowable (only some garden structures will fall under permitted development) otherwise ... you may be ordered to take it down."
In addition, it is vital that people take all of the necessary precautions when they are planning how they will heat the space.
Whether they are having
central heating systems installed or planning to use a portable gas fire, it is important that Britons contact a fully qualified member of the Gas Safe Register to check the item, or workers may unknowingly be putting themselves in danger.
