Norwich pub 'has new central heating systems fitted'
Article date : 09/08/2010

Drinkers at one Norwich pub could be staying cosy this winter, after new
central heating systems were fitted at the premises.
According to the Norwich Evening News, Stanley in Magdalen Road has undergone a £40,000 refurbishment - with the money coming from a Punch Taverns investment - which has included having
central heating radiators installed for the first time in its history.
It is hoped that more people will now visit the establishment, while it is also set to begin serving food.
Landlady Sue Coleman said the venue will be hosting live music every weekend as well as offering a lunchtime menu.
Claiming that the drinking establishment is a "community pub", she added that much of the decorating had been carried out by staff and locals.
"We've now got central heating which we've never had before, so that will be very useful in the winter, as it used to be freezing," Ms Coleman added.
Britons are advised to have a
central heating service during the summer to ensure that everything is in working order before the winter cold hits.
