Go with gas
Article date : 12/01/2009
Homeowners who are worried about the
cost of central heating as the UK faces a continuing cold snap this winter have been offered a few pointers on creating an energy-efficient property.
The Argus reports that people thinking about either upgrading an existing system or having
central heating systems installed for the first time may wish to consider gas products.
This is because whether a person opts for central heating monitored by
domestic heating controls - such as a thermostat and timer - or the additional control and economy of individual room warming products, gas central heating provides the answers for this decision, the article asserts.
"No matter which system you choose, you can be sure of conventional economic warmth with gas central heating," it notes.
The article continues that a
condensing boiler could also be used to lower energy bills.
Meanwhile, Kate Watson-Smyth, writing for the Independent, recently stated that the shape of
modern radiators can be used to utilise space in the home.
