When a house is being constructed, either by builders or under the management of the potential owner, underfloor heating should be a consideration, one group has claimed.
When paired with a
condensing boiler, underfloor heating can be the most economic way to heat a home, online resource Boilerguide notes.
Furthermore, the group added that the heating was a good cost-effective alternative to other
central heating systems.
Indeed, Boilerguide states that in a small residence, underfloor heating can result in savings of 20 per cent, while in larger properties this can rise to as much as 40 per cent.
David Holmes, founder of Boilerguide, explained: "Underfloor heating is a really good way of economising a property whilst also adding value to it. The savings that can be made mean that it doesn't take long for the underfloor heating system to pay for itself."
The company recently advised homeowners to ensure they were fully informed on what
central heating systems would best suit their home when it came to buying a
new boiler.
