Now may be a good time for homeowners to consider putting their house on the market as recent research reveals that demand for property is outweighing supply.
And should they be hoping to make a quick sale, Britons may first wish to modernise their
central heating systems by having a
condensing boiler installed by a Gas Safe registered
boiler engineer.
The Energy Saving Trust asserts that such a
gas boiler may help to attract consumers, as over a third of buyers are put off purchasing a property if it has outdated
central heating systems.
Recent research from the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) reveals that there are currently five buyers for every property on the market.
Furthermore, the average estate agent had 57 properties on its books last month, in contrast to the 62 properties recorded in September.
Commenting on the news, Gary Smith, president of the NAEA, stated: "There is strong demand for property and more optimism in the housing market than we have seen for months. This is good news for the recovery of the market and for the UK economy in general."
