Installing eco gas boiler 'a safe bet'

Britons looking for ways to improve their property over the summer months have been advised that investing in new central heating systems is a "safe bet".

According to the Mirror, property is likely to be the most valuable investment Britons own and so it is worthwhile taking the time to make them the best they can be.

Indeed, the newspaper claimed that people "can't lose", as if they are planning to move their home will be easier to sell, while if they are staying put the building will have the feeling of a brand new space.

Among its tips, the article suggested: "Installing gas central heating powered by a modern boiler is another safe bet. You'll be quids in before you know it."

It added that double glazing and insulation can also make a property more efficient, which could help to reduce its running costs.

Elsewhere, Andrew Leech, director at the National Home Improvement Council, recently claimed that home maintenance - such as a boiler service - should be prioritised over a holiday during the summer.
